Aditi Bedarkar
Resident Coordinator – Canada
Aditi Bedarkar is a second year Psychology undergraduate at the University of British Columbia. She has been advocating for mental health ever since high school, when she joined a mental health NGO- Mental Health Action by People- and led their youth chapter to provide mental health support to the youth of India. She has also organized and led many Model United Nations Conferences, bringing forth topics relating to public health for the young minds to debate upon and arrive at fruitful solutions for. Now, her mission is to bring awareness about mental health in the Global South, and improve the same to foster holistic socio-economic development in these countries.
