Chehek Bilgi

Chehek serves as Director – Strategic Communications at ECB Sustainable Youth Foundation, where she leads communications and strategic outreach initiatives. A filmmaker and cinematographer by profession, she brings a unique blend of creative vision and advocacy to her work, using visual storytelling to amplify voices, ideas, and impact. Her experience spans feature films, documentaries, commercial productions, and international projects showcased across film festivals and digital platforms. She has also collaborated with UN processes and partner organizations, contributing to narratives focused on climate action, sustainable development, land restoration, and youth engagement. Beyond her work in film, Chehek is actively involved in global youth & policy spaces. She serves on the Steering Committee of the UNCCD Youth Caucus and has represented youth perspectives at major international forums, including UNCCD COP16, UNFCCC COP29 & COP30, the UN High-Level Political Forum, the Summit of the Future, and the UN General Assembly. Through both communications and advocacy, she remains committed to connecting people, policy, and purpose.
