Mr. Ashish Mansharamani

Associate Director, Indian Social Responsibility Network

Mr. Ashish Mansharamani serves on the Board of Mentors at ECB Sustainable Youth Foundation, bringing extensive expertise in environmental policy, sustainable development, and the green economy. He is an Associate Director at the Indian Social Responsibility Network, where his work focuses on advancing sustainability through research, policy, and strategic initiatives. He received training in research and communication under the guidance of former President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee and former Governor of Uttarakhand Dr. K. K. Paul. His work spans climate action, environmental policymaking, and the Sustainable Development Goals, with contributions to initiatives including Harvard University fellowship programmes, ClimatePrediction.net with the University of Oxford, fog harvesting systems in Nepal, and the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration across Asia. He has co-authored two books on climate and democracy, alongside several research papers and articles. In 2021, he was recognized by Dr. Jane Goodall, UNEP Climate Ambassador, as a UNEP Community Restorer for supporting the plantation of over 11,400 trees worldwide.
